Medhufushi Island is a quiet and serene authentic 5* resort located in Meemu Atoll,
40 minutes transfer from Male by seaplane and a further 5 minutes by dhoni. It is an
idyllic barefoot-luxury island resort offering a truly tropical experience with excellent
accommodation and facilities, a friendly service and a relaxing atmosphere.

Accommodation - 58 beach villas with direct access to the beach, large bathrooms and openair
shower. 8 Beach Villa suites, 2 units, which are connected by a large, decked seating area.
7 Family units featuring two bedrooms (one twin) & two bathrooms. 44 Water Villas offering a
sunrise or sunset view and large spacious bathrooms with bathtub and separate rain shower. 2
stand alone Honeymoon Water Villas with open air shower and bubble bath and access via a
private dhoni boat from the main island. All rooms are air-conditioned with flat screen
television, DVD players, tea & coffee making facilities, WIFI Internet connection, mini bar and a
wooden sundeck with swing.

Facilities- The hotel has 2 restaurants - Malaafaiy restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and
dinner and Al Fresco located over the water serving a la carte cuisine. Vilu Bar which, is also
located over the water, offers a wide range of drinks and cocktails together with an extensive
light meal menu. Other facilities include a spa offering traditional treatments, fully equipped
gym, table tennis & volleyball. Water-sports include catamaran sailing, windsurfing, canoeing
and diving and the Werner Lau Dive centre with courses and instructions available. Excursions
include snorkelling safaris, dolphin sightseeing, sunset fishing and island hopping.
