MAJESTIC PERU


Day 1: Lima
Lima is a large, fascinating hotchpotch of architectural styles, coastal scenes, traditional
culture and modern arts and nightlife.
Day 2: Pisco/Ballestas Islands/Nazca
With birds circling ahead & a dramatic coastline of arches and caves, the Ballestas Islands
are a visual feast and a city of colourful houses.
Day 3: Puerto Inca
Puerto Inca is a tiny, sandy place with an abundance of ruins and beautiful coastal scenery
to enjoy.
Days 4 - 5: Arequipa
The beautiful ‘White City’ of Arequipa surrounded by volcanoes, is rich in Spanish colonial
architecture, local culture and cuisine.
Days 6 - 7: Puna/Lake Titicaca
Puno is a colourful town on the Peruvian shores of Lake Titicaca, expect to see traditionally
dressed locals, chaotic markets and, if lucky enough, even dancing in the streets.
Days 8 - 9: Cuzco
Cuzco is the gateway to Machu Picchu and a city with a lively town centre, majestic architecture
& impressive ruins.
Day 10: Sacred Valley/Ollantaytambo
The Sacred Valley of the Incas was once the heartland of the Incas. It is the starting point
of the classic Inca Trail trek.
Day 11: Aguas Calientes
At the base of Machu Picchu, Aguas Calientes takes its name from the numerous hot springs
that are dotted throughout the area.
Days 12 - 13: Machu Picchu/Cuzco
The staggering ruins of Machu Picchu and nearby town Cuzco is impressive in every way -
be it history, culture, nightlife or architecture.
Days 14 - 15: Lima
Lima still has a wealth of colonial buildings and grandiose churches, with interesting museums
and great restaurants to enjoy.
